He was in the kitchen, cleaning up the leftover dishes from dinner when his phone buzzed. Castiel wiped his hands, glanced through the door to see that Kevin was still enjoying his video game. Only then did he answer the phone with a warm smile that was obvious in his voice.
"Sam."
There's a tingle down his spine. He misses him, his lover and his dom, and every time he calls there's a certain anticipation - good news, bad news, getting to know when Sam will return.
