"So did you," Castiel murmurs, once again pressing his lips to Sam's, bringing his hands up to cup his face. "And so am I."

Because without Sam, there is no Dean, and without both, there is no Castiel. Nothing is worth losing them for, nothing. Castiel would repeat all of his mistakes endlessly if it just meant he could keep the two of them, keep everything just as it is right then, right now.

They've made their share of mistakes. They've had their share of trauma inflicted upon them, but they've survived. They've come through, and it's led them here. Living together in the bunker with Dean and Kevin, and the world - for once, for now - in order.
