Castiel swallows down his shame in order to comply, stripping gingerly and lying on the bed, face down. He's glad for the position - it allows him to hide his shame better. But at least some things are right with the world - he complies with protest or hesitation, following Sam's instructions peacefully once more.

"Is it bad?"

He doesn't want it to be bad. It feels like failing Sam all over again.
