It's almost embarassing and humbling to admit just how big the man's effect on him is. But where once Castiel serves out of duty, he now serves Sam, and every small gesture of affection, every word of praise, makes Castiel feel every bit the mighty, magnificent being he once was.
And yet he's so undeserving.
For now, he slowly but surely melts under Sam's skillful hands.
