Sam could have dropped fully on him and Gabriel wouldn't have noticed. Not with the way he was riding high on endorphins and basking in the wonderful feeling on Sam still inside of him.

A panicked reaction wasn't all that out of line for someone with a history like Sam's. Gabriel simply wrapped his arms tighter around him and nuzzled into his hair. He's mortal now. Can't keep putting off telling Sam how he feels because like Sam now, he's finite.

"Not taking it back Sammy." He kisses his hair and gives a contented sigh. Sure he's still half-hard between them and his left leg is falling asleep, but they're all incidental and he's never been happier. "I'm human now. Which means no holding back. Slip coming out of the shower, cross the street and get clocked by a wayward bus, I could check out at any second and you'd never have known."
