He blinks, turning back to Samandriel. "As long as he makes a choice of his own volition, that will be good enough." As interested as he is in Castiel, he doesn't imagine for a moment that he'll be Castiel's choice. "He's a lot stronger than people have been giving him credit for."
Of course, the fact that Castiel didn't actually go into heat until they were near each other hasn't really hit him yet. He'd been around Alphas all night but it wasn't until he was with Sam that things hit. It could have been coincidence, but there might be more to it.
