Sam blinks, then snatches the cover letter out of Dean's hand, reading it over for himself. "I've read more personal writs," he mutters, looking it over another time before he finally looks up at Dean. "Wait. Wait, what do you mean, you knew it?"
All while snagging the contract out of Dean's hands because, seriously, he was going to read the damned thing before he signed anything. He'd learned that much even before law school. That and never sign anything in blood.
