"Your uncle is an asshole." The corner of Sam's mouth kicks up slightly in a half smile. "And entirely too used to getting his own way. For right now, I think it's safe enough to head back up to the main house. Let you meet Ellen. I have a few phone calls to make to get things sorted for tomorrow. Tell Dean that's it's safe enough for them to come back now." He knew his family well, after all. It had been prudent to get his brother and Jo out of the house when faced with Zachariah. Neither of them were good at holding their tempers.
"And of course we'd make it special. Just because it's short notice doesn't mean we can't manage something." He smiles down at Castiel as he moves his hand to the other man's back again. "Maybe later, when things have settled down, we can talk about another, larger celebration." At that point, there would be a lot worth celebrating, after all.
