"There's not a lot of rules, really. Dean and Ellen are pretty much the only ones allowed to do any cooking." Sam glances over at him. "I'm pretty damned awful at anything other than cereal or toast." Sam had just never had a chance to learn how to cook, really. "We all tend to chip in where needed, though. We don't really stand on ceremony or titles here. Pretty much the only rules are that you don't go where you aren't invited. And that if the door to my office is closed, knock and try not to be upset if I don't let you in. That usually means I'm either deep into studying for law school or there's something sensitive that I need to concentrate on."
He shrugs. "I know it's not really what you're used to, but I hope you'll be okay with things."
