That... certainly is different, and it shows in the obvious confusion on Castiel's face. He's not sure if Sam is serious, but he must be. It's not that Castiel considers himself above such a way of living, it's just that... he's not used to it. To him, it's strange than an alpha, and the leader of the pack especially, would be willing and expected to handle chores. It's unthinkable in the circles Castiel comes from and yet... here it's normal. Here it's just something Sam does. Dean, too, as his second.
How strange. Not bad, just... very different. Castiel wonders how much help he could even possibly be. Wonders if Zachariah had it backwards - that he won't be the one sneering over the Winchesters because they're "poor", but that the Winchesters will sneer at him because he's spoiled.
