Castiel has been raised very differently, and it becomes immediately obvious in the way he talks to people. He's overly stiff, formal, can come across as stoic and cold. He tries, though. Listens, even if the staring seems to put people off. Overall, he says very little. He's quiet, contemplative.
He doesn't fit in, but then, nobody expected that immediately. It's not his fault, and it's not their fault, and it will come with some time, perhaps. Charlie finds him dreamy, which he supposes is a compliment, Dean claps him on the back, and overall he feels... well, tolerated, which in any other situation would possibly sound unpleasant to say about your new pack, but for Castiel means more than his own pack has given him.
When they sit down, he frowns at the empty seat next to him, then places his hand on Sam's next to him, looks at him with a slightly puzzled expression.
"Is there someone I haven't met yet, or did you accidentally include my uncle in the arrangement after all?"
