He stops in the doorway, irritated with the situation, but mostly confused. He doesn't like being confused, being a person of reason and order. Castiel turns his head, looks at Gabriel over his shoulder.
"You left because you were disgusted at seeing me turn out to be nothing more than an omega. For a year, I wrote you letters every day, and had them sent to wherever you were rumored to be at the time. I don't appreciate your games, Gabriel."
