Castiel feels uprooted in strange ways. Not dropped from subspace so much as torn out of it. The ropes have rubbed his wrists utterly raw and Castiel is shaking, subtly but just about noticeable. He's strong, and there is no other situation in which anyone could put him in a state like this - but here, in his shared bedroom with Jason, he's vulnerable. Made himself so, trusting his state wouldn't be exploited. And he was wrong.

So for now, he just nods. Sam isn't his dom, but Sam is here right now, and he needs someone to be there, to respect his safe word.
