When I'm all alone, I reach for you/And you bring me home
For a while after Gabriel was awoken, the battle against the Fallen turned in favor of the Hunters. The Fallen hadn't been expecting it, after all, thinking all the Daughters and Sons had faded away. That, along with the fact that the town that surrounded Gabriel's temple had now become a sanctuary for Hunters meant that the Fallen had been taken by surprise.
For a time.
Eventually, though, the Fallen seemed to learn that there were only two Sons who had awakened and that their powers were still limited. Whether they had realized that Castiel and Gabriel really only appeared around Dean and Sam, Sam didn't know, but it certainly hadn't stopped the Fallen from attacking the brothers. Though they only called upon the Sons in the most dire of circumstances as both were still regaining their power.
Finally, though, all four had agreed that something needed to be done.
Which is why Sam pulls up his horse before the gates of the great City, looking up at the walls built and worked with the power of the Sons and Daughters from long ago to protect the inhabitants from the Fallen and the dark creatures that lived in the wilds. Gabriel rides pillion behind him, body warm against Sam's back and arms around his sides. No doubt the Son could have made it to the City on his own just fine, but he's reserving power for the moment.
Sam looks back to the group of Hunters that are following him. He knows that Dean and Castiel and other Hunters are coming into the City on the other side, since they don't want to make people nervous about a large number of Hunters in the City, but if this works, they want the extra Hunters close.
He drops his hand to Gabriel's on his stomach, giving it a squeeze. "You ready to go into the City?"

Because Sam wasn't the only one who could tease his bonded beloved.
The smiles turn into warm sounds of encouragement as Sam dips his fingers in the oil and begins to inscribe the sacred words on his skin. Marking him again as Sam's and only his. By the time his work is completed the oil is glowing faintly and Gabriel is panting. Magic fueled with love and desire and he can't wait to feel Sam sink into him and cement that bond all over again.

And they're only half finished. Sam pulls back with a smile as he settles back. "I think that means it's your turn."

"My beloved," he murmurs against his lips, straddling Sam's hips. "Tonight we wake the others with the power of our love and our faith. As you called me from the mist, now we call the others. Hunters are ready and awaiting the Sons and Daughters, those who have not forgotten the old ways."

Even the reminder that they weren't alone didn't make anything difficult, caught up in the power that they were building together.
"Then let us call them, beloved," he says softly in return. "Let us bring them home and to the arms of those who will loved them, those they have been destined to find through all these ages."

Another lingering kiss and Gabriel raises up to slowly lower himself down on Sam's body. The sigils they had drawn in sacred oil began to flare brighter, lighting up the grove in shades of bronze and gold, a miniature sunrise flickering among the trees.

Gabriel's is the gold, the same color that the Son's eyes turn in sunlight. The bronze is his color, a duller and more muted color, perhaps, but one that compliments the gold perfectly. Just as Castiel and Dean compliment each other.
He slides his hands over Gabriel's hips, groaning as he pushes up to meet his love part way. "I will never, ever tire of the way you feel against me," Sam murmurs, looking up at Gabriel with bright, adoring eyes.

Gabriel laughs, bending to kiss Sam as he pushes down, groaning into the kiss as Sam fills him completely. "And neither will I, my love."
The grove continues to fill with bright golden and bronze light as the temple itself begins to fill with starlight - cool silvers and blues as the two Sons begin to intertwine their power and channel it into the very foundation of the building, lighting it up like a beacon.

His hand finally settled over Gabriel's heart, looking up to lock his gaze with his Son. His partner and lover and the other half of his soul. And began to murmur a prayer to the Sons and Daughters that those who had come to them for centuries had spoken, imploring their help and blessings as a Hunter.

His hands drift down over Sam's arms and shoulders before moving in the air between them, drawing on the power he'd been created with, turning them into a beacon. Son and Hunter. Forever intertwined, brought together by the ancient love of the Mother and Father and between them, they could call the others back. Show them that there was still light in the world, that there were still those who believed.
Gabriel's eyes flash golden as the power builds in him and he begins to rock a little faster against Sam. Gathering all the power he has to give the fading Sons and Daughters enough power to return.

His ears, though, catch the voices of other Hunters around them. The ones in the grove with them each intoning the prayer that Sam had spoken only moments before. He waits for them to finish before he begins speaking again, adding his voice to theirs and pulling their belief and hope into the spell that Gabriel works.

It's going to break over them all like a tidal wave, spilling over the entirety of the Temple when they both fall. Gabriel can sense the others stirring, vague impressions of Daughters and Sons taking hold and waiting for the completion of the spell to pull them forward and into the world again.

He reaches down, sliding his hand over Gabriel's cock, thumb brushing over the head. "Fuck, Gabe...I'm close." Too close, maybe. He needs to hold on until the right moment, but the amount of power around them keeps pushing him closer to the edge. Not to mention the heat of Gabriel's body around his.

Gabriel speeds up his pace, riding his beloved towards the crest and as his orgasm hits and he comes across Sam's chest the spell peaks, washing the entire temple in brilliant light, turning it into a beacon for all those who were once lost.
Laughter. It's the first sound that comes back to him as he raises himself off Sam's chest, shaky after weaving such powerful magic. Laughter of Sons and Daughters finding their Hunters. Faith rewarded with love. He turns his face towards Sam's neck, laughing softly. "We did it. Sam we did it."

Sam huffs a surprised laugh, sliding his hands up to slip into Gabriel's hair. He can't see most of the Hunters from where he's laying, but he can hear enough to know that most o the others are definitely feeling as good as he does at the moment.
But, then, he remembers how it felt to find the one he was meant for, too.
"We did it," he murmurs in agreement, sliding his fingers through Gabriel's hair. And grinning because, damn it, they'd done it.
